The Rooms

Campanula & Pimpinella: one of the walls in each room evokes the colour of the flower the room is named after, pale blue/violet and pink respectively.

Every aspect of the rooms is brand new and designed for maximum comfort: the latex mattresses are double to ensure snugness; the duvets are single so our guests can sleep at their ideal temperature; pillows are in natural latex and available in different shapes. Each room has 4 duvets and 4 pillows.
The rooms are equipped with towels, bath towels, two snug bathrobes and a hair dryer.
The bathrooms are ensuite with a WC, bidet, sink and shower unit. They also have a towel heater so towels and other items can be dried quickly.

All the rooms include a suitably lighted, comfortable reading area: an open invitation not to watch TV, which we have purposely chosen not to place in the bedrooms, and read a good book. WIFI connection is available

The complimentary toiletries are biological: the herbal tea corner treats our guests to top quality tea, herbal teas and coffee, and a bottle of excellent sparkling mountain water is always available.
Last but not least the low temperature under floor heating which is run by a pellet boiler guarantees a stable temperature throughout the rooms. The sauna is conveniently placed close to the rooms; in the overlooking garden a hot water tub is perfect for a relaxing soak while admiring Monte Cistella. The sauna and tub should be booked in advance.
The B&B has its own independent entrance with a ski boot heater and ski-rack as well as an outdoor bike storage area.

There is an old saying about a plant whose scientific name is Sanguisorba minor: “Pimpinella l’insalata la fa bella” (Pimpinella makes a salad beautiful); its fresh tasting leaves add a delicious slight flavour of cucumber to salads, soups, cheeses.
Campanula, a name of Latin origin meaning “small bell”, grows wild in our fields filling the area with a riot of delicate pale blue/violet almost transparent flowers in summertime.

Our Breakfast

Sweet and savoury, proteins and carbohydrates, fresh and dried fruit… whatever your taste, we are convinced that breakfast is the most important meal of the day: a must have after hours of sleep when the body needs energy to get the day off to a start.

The produce we serve at breakfast is (almost) Kilometer Zero and sourced from local producers; each and every one is a friend as well and we can vouch for their professionalism and the quality of their products. Food which cannot be sourced locally is rigorously bio and healthy so our guests can relish a truly superb breakfast accompanied by a cup of coffee, herbal tea or tea provided by Palais des Thès, which boasts a selection of the best teas in the world.
Vegans, celiacs and guests with special food intolerances should inform us of their requirements in advance.
Continental breakfast can also be requested at no extra cost.
Breakfast is served in our bright and airy day area or outdoors on the terrace or garden.
